Because of the rise of markets in India, China and Russia, the demand for pink diamonds has increased greatly. However, due to the continuous mining of the past 25 years, pink diamonds have been greatly reduced, which has caused the market to exceed supply and the prices continue to rise. According to the information provided by De Beers, pink diamonds are very rare, with an average annual output of less than 1%-2% of full-bodied pink diamonds. Of the 2.5 million carats of loose diamonds produced worldwide, pink diamonds are only 1 carat. The number of beautifully colored diamonds is as rare as phoenix feathers.
