Padparadscha, pronounced (padpa-rad-scha), is a member of the sapphire family. It is the most precious and "fancy" non-blue sapphire. Padparadcsha (meaning lotus), first applied to sapphire in 1847. General gem players know that pink and orange in minerals are usually impossible to appear together, but PADPARADSCHA lotus corundum is uniquely blessed with 50% pink and orange each. After cutting, it appears pale pink and orange, and it is more blurred when rotating. Variety of colors, so it attracts the eyes of experts.
